Rendezvous in Lac du Bonnet. We’ll have breakfast and go through introductions and a safety briefing. After breakfast, we’ll enjoy a short but super fun ride down the 307 and 44 hwy before stopping for an afternoon hike at McGillvary Falls Hiking Trail. After the trail, we’ll head to the campsite, get ourselves set up, and we’ll talk moto-camping gear and being bear smart before having dinner and then either relaxing around the campfire or heading to the beach for a swim.

After breakfast and coffee, we’ll tear down our camp gear and briefly hit the Trans Canada HWY before heading south and onto the gravel down to Buffalo Point, where we’ll have lunch before heading East along the 12 to Vassar and then North to Whitemouth Lake. And then East to Moose Lake for a swim before heading back to Buffalo Point. Back at camp, we’ll work on some basic camp skills before having a bonfire and a delicious fresh meal cooked over the fire.

Breakfast, coffee and a quick pack up before we head East on hwy 12, and up the gravel to Woodridge for a quick fuel up at the general store before hitting the trails and winding our way through forest and logging areas to Marchand and La Broquerie where we’ll head through St. Anne before our final stop at the Centre of Canada for a photo op and back to Winnipeg, dusty, dirty but with ear-to-ear grins.
